Homeowners Insurance Requirements

Homeowners’ Insurance

The HOA’s Board of Directors, in keeping with the Governing Documents, has established requirements for owners to maintain property insurance. The HOA’s property management company tracks Homeowners’ Insurance policies to ensure our homes all have the proper type of insurance in place.

There are a number of things we need to make sure are handled correctly:

1.     The Beach Club Town Homes Homeowners Association c/o Red Rock Management is required to be included on as an “Additional Insured” or “Additional Interest” on your Homeowners Insurance policy.

2.     The new mailing address for insurance documentation is:

Beach Club Town Homes HOA

c/o Red Rock Management
PO Box 49443
Charlotte, NC 28277

Acceptable Insurance Binder Type:

The minimum required Homeowners Insurance Policy type permitted is “HO6” which is commonly referred to as a “condo” policy.  The HOA maintains a Master Insurance Policy which covers the exterior of the homes and the community property.

Some insurance carriers offer policies which provide more coverage than the “HO6” policy and they can be OK.

Please ask your Homeowners Insurance agent to provide Red Rock Management with a copy of your Homeowners’ Insurance Policy declarations page at the address above on an annual basis.
